This lamp was designed by and handmade by Aaron Thomas of Thomas Fine Woodworks. The body of the lamp is made from solid curly Maple wood and has magnificent and rich color with striking figured grain pattern. The body is finished with a red tint that accentuates this lamps unique curly figure. Inside the body of the lamp is a hand-blown glass reservoir, glass wick insert and cotton wick. The lamp body is sealed with 100% raw, all-natural Carnauba Wax.
Carnauba wax is a food-safe, vegetable product that comes from the Carnauba palm that grows in Northeastern Brazil. It is one of the hardest natural waxes known to man and brings a rich luster to the wood in addition to the protection it provides. If your lamp's shine ever dulls, simply use a soft cloth to lightly buff it back to its original radiance.
Each of my wooden oil lamps are designed and handmade by me personally. The woods are hand selected by me for the highest quality and figure.
